Bug Description
Jockey failed to install ati fglrx binary driver.
This is because a version of -fglrx which supports the .32 kernel and 1.7 xserver has not yet been released by ATI. Various crashes and other assorted problems can be expected from fglrx until we receive an updated driver.
Technically, jockey should not be offering -fglrx even on hardware which would otherwise be supported; this is deliberate. From https:/
fglrx-installer (2:8.660-0ubuntu6) lucid; urgency=low
* debian/control:
- Provide xserver-
uninstallable until AMD restores compatibility with X.

The ATI Catalyst (fglrx) driver does not currently support Xserver 1.7. If support does not arrive this month Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" may be released with a special unreleased Catalyst driver to support Xserver 1.7, similar to what occurred in 9.10 "Karmic Koala" and 9.04 "Jaunty Jackalope".
Workaround in the mean-time is to uninstall -fglrx and use the open source -ati driver instead.

Apparently the module does not build:
Consult the make.log in the build directory dkms/fglrx/ 8.660/build/ for more information.
/var/lib/
Error! Could not locate fglrx.ko for module fglrx in the DKMS tree.
You must run a dkms build for kernel 2.6.32-7-generic (x86_64) first.
Can you replicate this by apt-get install xorg-driver-fglrx and then look at the make log?
