Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
I Know this is probably not your problem as it is a proprietary driver
After installing the driver using the driver installer
X-server fails on startup and will only start in low graphics mode
I have a ati radeon hd 5700 card
I removed the driver using the ati provided uninstall
And selected the driver from Hardware Drivers tool in administration with the same results
I have installed this driver with no problems on 9.04 and 9.10
Please let me know if you need any more information
