If you have "Lock screen when system is going to sleep" checked in Power manager's preferences, and e.g. xscreensaver running and xfce4-screensaver not running, but installed, it will be used for locking instead of xscreensaver. It does not help if you set property xfcee4-sessioin > general > LockCommand to 'xscreensaver-command -lock'
It should use what is set in LockCommand property and if not set, use the daemon running.
