but I'm not surprised as the realtek support has not been pushed in mainline kernel and I doubt that Ubuntu kernel devs would patch that sort of thing.
What would be the right procedure then ? Push the fix to upstream ? We have everything ready on the github mentionned above.

Which results in a dkms deb but which does not include the firmware.

Also this DKMS overwrite the current btusb which quite dangerous ....
Does the ubuntu project distribute dkms drivers even when they are opensource ?
For now it's the right thing to do it seems.
