It will pave the way for introducing a local Linux desktop, while still supporting the existing Microsoft infrastructure. Ubuntu and Citrix is a perfect desktop solution for Task Workers who only require a simple desktop to access their already thin applications (web, java, Citrix) to avoid the cost of a VDI solution.
