While is is certainly true that Caja is not starting, I wonder if it is related to this comment (not Ubuntu):

In this case, the issue seems to be more Marco or mate-settings-daemon, but Caja still will not start. Using a different Window Manager seems to avoid it, and allows Caja to run normally.
