Comment 1 for bug 676666

That is bizarre. I almost want to say this is a bug in the underlying widget, since the only thing Panflute does in response to a volume change is propagate it to the backend player. It doesn't even distinguish between the different ways of setting the volume (slider v. mouse scroll). I have no idea what would cause this to happen, or why it would get stuck at 56% of all places, without diving into the source code.
