After drv. update - unchanged.
I also try 5.5.2 from Clem's beta rls:
https://github.com/linuxmint/mintmenu/releases/tag/5.5.2
and effect was that same - unusable menu.
That same issue is with package from eugenesan ppa:
https://launchpad.net/~eugenesan/+archive/ppa
