Comment 1 for bug 1026388

The idea is interesting, I didn't realize that other apps do this. There's a problem we need to address, and which is an outstanding issue regardless: ellipsize instead of horizontal scrolling.

Treeview doesn't want to ellipsize and I have no clue how to work-around it. The attached patch does the expanders, but you won't see any text at all. Takes welcome.
