I'm using Linux Mint 17.2 (archive manager ver 3.6.3) and it was nice to find out that the compression utility integrated in the Nemo file manager fully supports encryption and password for RAR files, but doesn't for 7Z files.

Since RAR is proprietary, ZIP has weak compression + easily crackable passwords and other formats like TAR don't support passwords, I'd like to be able to use the 7Z format for this.

To sum up, what's missing is the ability to set a password and encrypt filenames once the password is set for 7Z files using File-roller.
