When I open/report a new bug I am by default not marked as affected by it. "This bug doesn't affect me".

As I am the one who is reporting the bug I should it be safe to assume by default that I am affected.

I had a look at Bug #289589 but I thing this one is related to the bug opener not the one who is working on the bug.
