Comment 2 for bug 252810

The karma total caches are not updated in a single transaction and generating them takes quite a while to run. You may see inconsistent results if you view your karma report during the batch process run, or until the next successful run completes if it aborted for some reason.

We could fix this by building the caches in a holding area and swapping them into place, but to be honest I doubt it is of high enough priority to get looked at.
