Im not a CS developer, so its hard for me to help. But when looking through the code, it looks like Do initializes the pluginmanager.
PluginManager.Initialize ();
in Gnome-do-0.9/Do/src/Do.cs [line 52]
Could it be, that the keyring is blocking this?
I have an old IBM thinkpad T43 with a fingerprint reader. I'm more then willling to help testing this.
Im running Fedora 16 on it. If you want to fix this and need a hand (finger), write me at henrik at softica dot dk...
