I have this warning in my kern.log at every boot.

Everything works except :

- I frequently have no window manager and even sometimes no panel at startup (under Xfce)

- I sometimes have network issues :
PING 80.67.169.12 (80.67.169.12) 56(84) bytes of data.
From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=1 Destination Net Unreachable
From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=2 Destination Net Unreachable
From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=3 Destination Net Unreachable
From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=4 Destination Net Unreachable
I suspect the router or the ISP to be responsible for this, since I can reach the router.
Besides, rebooting the router once or twice does the trick.

Don't know if any of these issues is linked with the warning.

BTW, I haven't found this error anymore which I got from plugging my
HTC G1 into the computer, to automatically get a new network
interface. The computer had USB1-ports and I was running from livecd.
I actually think the kernel update did the trick. But I haven't used
that computer in a long time now, -- but afaik, it worked after kernel
update.

Sorry, after recheck, it does not happen to me every boot. It is not linked to my window manager error. I'll try to correlate it with the network issue.
