It's 2009 and we still have "username". I'm not a "user" - this is my computer, I paid for it! Not to be too long-winded but referring to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_(computing)
the connotations are demeaning and anachronistic.

At this point I don't have any alternative suggestions. It would be interesting to know if other language translations are so encumbered.
