How about this behavior:

1/ If no sub pages trash without confirmation or delete with simple OK / NOK
2/ If sub pages or attachments give a warnign like:

     XX Files will be moved to Trash / delete permanently - Are you sure ?
     + show details

would this make it clearer ?
