Comment 13 for bug 286906

Ok, if we think we can manage major version changes and not change them so fast the downstreams object, then the only issue is the cost of maintaining the stable versions. We don't currently do much to maintain released spidermonkey tarballs. What expectations do system library users bring for maintenance?
