Hi,
I am glad to find here that somebody else had the same issue before me.

I have to say that i am having the same problem described above but i did not install ubuntu 10.4 from wubi. I booted ubuntu from a live cd and installed it from there. After that, when choosing Ubuntu from GRUB i get the message of BusyBox 1 13 3.

I hope this info helps you to find out the cause of the problem.
