I had wished for some way to create reminders inside WL many times.
I tend to play very long games on big or even huge maps, and often come back to them after weeks.
There is currently absolutely no way, to save any reminders inside the game, and not even any way to see the coordinates for referencing.
So I am writing long clumsy directory notes for my games, if I need to remember some things. This is not a good way.
As a final attempt to save this suggestion, that I like for the functionality it introduces, and accepting that the complexity of the UI should increase as little as possible, I have a modified version for reconsideration and discussion. I hope it does not mean too much effort:
Add a button to the action menu, that would open a small window allowing to enter some text.
When the window is closed, it checks, whether something was written.
If yes, it saves the text and places a pigeon on top of the flag, as a graphical reminder that there is a note for this position.
Reading a note would be invoked the same way as creating one.
Deleting all text inside the edit window, would replace the
"Pigeon on flag" picture with the normal flag.
Deleting a flag would also delete the attached message.
