, . are available as expected in German and English layouts. French appear to have a totally different layout, but I'm not sure. Other languages like Russian or Greek are also out of the game. So there's a bit of a problem with translations I should guess.
My suggestion is to resort to f g and redefine w for window size toggle. This is the best compromise in ergonomic and documentary perspective. w for window is easy to remember.
