I experienced this as well (stacktrace attached):

widelands: ../src/graphic/text/transient_cache.h:143: void TransientCache<T>::drop() [with T = UI::RenderedText]: Controletest 'it != entries_.end()' faalt.

Also, I saved a core file, maybe that could be handy? It's too large for me to upload, but if you tell me what to look up (and how to do that) I could help.
