I too have this problem,

My config Asus ZenBook Prime UX-31A, and USB modems are Huawei E372 and an old Qualcomm Icon 7.2, both modems have problems switching unless already plugged in at boot time.

What kinf of information (logs or other) can I give you to help solving this bug ?
