As part of the big bug review for 16.04 LTS I have tested this on 15.10 and the bug is still there.
Tested on 15.10 Beta 2. By default, Super + L locks the screen. Unity allows this key combination to be set to a custom command, but, on key press, the screen locks, rather than the command being run.
