The problem is not with the Turboprint driver, which works correctly with the cups 1.1.23 version which currectly loads in Hedgehog. The problem seems to be with either the version of cups and printer management or with the management of usb. Printing start is either delayed or starts and stopspartway through the first page. Extra versions of the same printer are detected and installed. Also an older printer which was removed from this computer before I installed D.D. and hooked up to my son's computer was also detected somehow . . . possibly over the network.
If any information about my installation would help resolve this please let me know and I will try to get it for you.
