So the QEMU patch is the relevant one here; the kernel changes were just attempts at fixing this bug which failed.
It would be nice if we could send this upstream, but I guess it needs testing / checking with other flavors than versatile.
Also, ideally, QEMU should compute the address instead of hardcoding it.
