So far, we have these implementations:

(a) python-debian and dput other than the lunar one (seems the more robust implementation?):

1.2.3ubuntu4~ppa1 -> 1.2.3+ubuntu4.ppa1

(b) lunar's dput:

1.2.3ubuntu4~ppa1 -> 1.2.3.post4~ppa1

(c) distro-info:

1.2.3ubuntu4~ppa1 -> 1.2.3+ubuntu4~ppa1

How about we standardize on one? What do you think?
