r40E blacklist patch is incorrect

SRU Justification

Impact: Some models of Thinkpad laptops will not boot.

Patch Description: Correctly blacklist these Thinkpad models in ACPI.

I did a fresh install of intrepid mythubuntu, built the new kernel and the problem is fixed. Thanks

Im doing the intrepid thing, its in progress. Wont be able to do the hardy one for a while only got one of these machines :-(

btw I recently built the 2.6.27-9 kernel on this machine for another problem and the problem was still fixed.

Followed the proposed process for intrepid, kernel 2.6.27-8 was installed. That kernel booted fine, no apparent problems, Thanks

Martin (West), from what I see this fix is still untested for the hardy version of the kernel. Is there any chance you'll have an opportunity to test this soon? We are trying to get the proposed kernel verified so that it can be rolled into the next 8.04 point release.

Though the instructions were a little confusing. They refer to intrepid so transcribed to hardy but the thing the caused a problem was the instructions to set the preferences. It was not until I removed the preferences would it upgrade to the proposed versions.
