Bug Description

This is a tracking report for the merge with upstream stable kernel 2.6.24.6 (This is equivalent to the update to 2.4.26.7 since the only additional patch in .7 already has been merged). The following updates are included:

  * splice: use mapping_gfp_mask
  * fix oops on rmmod capidrv
  * USB: gadget: queue usb USB_CDC_GET_ENCAPSULATED_RESPONSE message
  * JFFS2: Fix free space leak with in-band cleanmarkers
  * Increase the max_burst threshold from 3 to tp->reordering.
  * USB: remove broken usb-serial num_endpoints check
  * V4L: Fix VIDIOCGAP corruption in ivtv

I suspect TIm meant to target this to the upcoming 8.04.2 release, not 8.04.4
