I built the next test kernel, up to the following commit:
408c9861c6979db974455b9e7a9bcadd60e0934c

The test kernel can be downloaded from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1745646

When you run uname -a this time, the kernel should have this string in the name: 201804041858

Can you test that kernel and report back if it has the bug or not? I will build the next test kernel based on your test results.
