This bug was fixed in the package nvidia-settings - 460.73.01-0ubuntu0.20.04.1

  * debian/patches/08_add_prime_support.patch:
    - Stop the timeout after the child is done. This fixes an error
      that g_type_check_instance_is_a() was throwing.
