Comment 39 for bug 591929

I have this bus with ubuntu 10.10 amd64 on my dell e5510. installing the current intel-drm-kernel solves the issue only half the way. I can then activate the external VGA-monitor without crashing my system but its physical resolution is not recognized correctly (max of 768 vertical, physical is 1024).
