I closed the lid, waited for some seconds (to work around bug 30802), moved the mouse (watching the backlight switch back on) and opened the lid (unlocked the session), so I could read the following output:
$ lshal -m
Start monitoring devicelist: ------------------------------------------------- acpi_LID property button.state.value = true acpi_LID condition ButtonPressed = lid acpi_LID property button.state.value = false acpi_LID condition ButtonPressed = lid
The output is the same when I do not move the mouse inbetween closing and opening the lid.
Tested on Flight 6 dist-upgraded today.
