Happens also on my machine, only on Wily sistem:
 - guest: 15.10 Wily (updated today)
 - host: Ubuntu 14.04 (kernel 3.13, updated today)

Other info: this bug seems to be related to the guest additions I installed in my VM. Before I did it, webapps were working ok on Ubuntu 15.10.
VirtualBox and guest additions installed from Ubuntu repositories (not from Virtualbox website).
