No worries. If it didn't remove the problem it wasn't the cause of the problem
so it's not that importent.

Could you do another strace for me please? Run it for ~30 secs and gzip it
please. If it's then less then 2Mb,
please attach it, I hope that gives me a better idea what the problem might be.
