Thanks for reporting this issue. Some of the errors suggest you may have had a disk problem during the upgrade, e.g.:
dpkg: error fatal irrecuperable, abortando: fallo al leer en la copia de búfer de el fichero de lista de ficheros del paquete `linux-headers-2.6.35-25': Error de entrada/salida
I'm reassigning this bug to the update-manager package for possible further triaging of the upgrade issue. There doesn't seem to have been any problem with the pam package itself - only that your upgrade couldn't find it.
