Sorry for not responding earlier.

tests run after locking screen
1 - suspend
2 - switch session, shutdown, restart
3 - switch to guest account, shutdown, restart
4 - disconnected power

in all cases the system came up with the screen locked

if these were all options then the patch has solved the problem
if I missed something then please reopen and tell me what to test
