Hi.
Yes I have the same problem (or a close variant) which I've only just discovered having plugged in my second screen for the first time in a month or so. I'm running 12.04 LTS 32-bit on an Acer Aspire 5741 with 4 x Intel® Core™ i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz. I run all Ubuntu updates as they become available.
Previously I was able to reveal my (normally hidden) Unity launcher in both screens by taking the mouse to the left of the screen, but this is currently only working in my secondary (top) screen. I am however able to make the laucher appear on either screen (wherever the mouse is) by holding down the 'super' key. My display set-up is as per attached screenshot.
