I can report two cases :

- On French-Canadian Precise amd64 fully updated, keyboard layout is always wrong, but OK once logged in.

- On freshly installed (01-23-2012) Oneiric amd 64 fully updated, system works nicely, but once I install 3.2.0-10-generic from xorg-edgers-ppa then the kayboard layout is wrong under lightdm and once logged in.
