Just like PhilW, I upgraded from Jaunty to Karmic with the update-manager and I get all those "Invalid cross-device link" error messages. I'm using LVM (with mirrored Lvs) for everything but the boot.

Around one out of two boot process is successful, although not critical I must say that this is quite irritating.

Let me know if you need some logs or other information.
