if you are running intrepid, I would appreciate if you could use the instructions i gave here: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubufox/+bug/270303/comments/48 to verify that this fix works for you too. Once confirmed, i will prepare an SRU with this fix.
