I thought I should update this a bit because the instances of people wiping out their existing Windows OS and/or data have clearly increased.

The following three bugs are all related:

bug 655950

bug 682429

bug 657397

IMHO we need to bring back the option to "Install to largest continuous free space" and get rid of the "Use entire partition" and "Use entire disc" in the screen after choosing to "Install alongside"!

Doing so would potentially only leave bug 657397.
