I just tried installing 9.10 Netbook Remix version after loading Live CD, and it is hangs at the screen which gives you option to erase entire hard disk, largest continuous space ...

When I opened a terminal to see which process was stuck it was ubiquity, at 80%.

When I decided install without going into live CD, the partition screens opened fine and got through to installing it.

Note the installation was on as Asus EEE PC using a USB stick
