wangi : Thanks for your comment. Can you confirm that ubuntu still boot? If you don't even get to your Desktop, that is another bug like bug #179336. If your computer boot but that you just don't see usplash, it looks like we're talking about the same bug.
In case it's really the usplash bug, can you copy here :
1. The content of your /etc/usplash.conf file here?
2. The result of this command in a terminal : cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf | grep -A 4 'Section "Device"'
