Subject: [Bug 313792] Re: VNC protocol greyed out in Terminal Server
Solution to this problem:
sudo apt-get install xtightvncviewer
That package is a "plug-in" to the Terminal Server Client which adds VNC
support.
Again, I suggested it before, please add xtightvncviewer to the list of
suggested / recommended packages in the Terminal Server Client
(TSClient) package so everyone at least has a CLUE how to get the VNC
protocol support enabled.
Yes I realize that Remote Desktop Viewer is the "standard" for viewing
remote VNC... but I happen to prefer TSClient for the task. This would
reduce the time to figure out what was the magic package to add to
enable VNC support.
