This bug was fixed in the package thunderbird - 7.0~b1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu3

  * Fix LP: #833591 - ensure that the xpt typelibs are generated correctly
    at build. Also make sure that any failures in future are fatal, so we
    don't create a broken binary
    - update debian/rules
    - update debian/eds/build.sh
    - update debian/eds/config_build.sh
