It confirms we're talking about the same thing. :-)
If V2 of TB isn't fixed then our company and no doubt others will just not use it. As a business we do a lot of email searching on body, and x-headers via imap.
If the developers don't want to pre-index all the headers of every email, then I can only suggest that when a user adds a custom header to search with, that this action prompts a request to automatically reindex all the email in the persons account. Alternatively just get the program to re-download the headers of each email as it searches.
Hopefully there will be a way for IT developers like myself to install TB 2 with a preset list of custom headers.
I feel we should be user-feature lead rather than server-feature lead.
