Just received 22.4.1 updates and back to the same issue. 167.047420 MTD device name must be supplied (device name is empty) stuck at username prompt.

Managed to live boot from USB
/dev/sda1 biosgrub
/dev/sda2 EFI
/dev/sda3 ext4 Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
