As mentioned in the bug report title - DEP8 tests should be modified to test the ldapi:// socket.
So far the DEP8 tests do not test that new feature.

It can be done fairly easy, changing the configure_sssd_ldap_rfc2307() and configure_sssd_ldap_rfc2307_krb5_auth() functions in d/t/util to take another argument and then use the ldapi socket.
