I don't understand the reason for hiding software-properties in GNOME Control Center, while it's displayed in Unity Control Center
Jeremy, why you decided to not display software-properties in GNOME Control Center (why you created separate software- properties- gnome.desktop) ?
ubuntu@ ubuntu: ~/Desktop$ diff /usr/share/ applications/ software- properties- gtk.desktop /usr/share/ applications/ software- properties- gnome.desktop GNOME;GTK; Settings; X-GNOME- SystemSettings; X-GNOME- Settings- Panel;X- Unity-Settings- Panel; Settings- Panel=software- properties Settings- Panel=software- properties GNOME;GTK; Settings; X-GNOME- SystemSettings;
