Sven Romeike (lun4tic) wrote : no user feedback when installing multiple applications in series

When an application is installed with the software-center and you browse for more applications, select another you want to install and click install the software-center gives no exact feedback that it reacted to the input. the only feedback the user gets is the increase of the number of apps that are installing.

reproduce:

* select an application you want to install in software center and click install

* while it is still installing or downloading browse for another application and click install

* the software center gives absolutely no feedback for a few seconds until the number of the currently installing applications at the top finally increases

I don't know if this is intended but the user should see some kind of progress bar or optical feedback immediately when he clicked. The numbers at the top as only optical feedback is just not enough and makes the user think the click was not recognized by the system.
